Caesars Palace
One of the places where I didn’t get to visit when I went to Las Vegas several years ago was Caesars Palace, but I’d like to see that since it’s probably the most famous of the places left from the older Las Vegas. That’s certainly the one I always heard about in connection with Las Vegas, so I assume that’s where people like Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack and Elvis Presley used to hang out when they were in Vegas. That’s where all the traditional, flamboyant shows with huge numbers of beautiful women dancing together in colorful costumes, old time singers like Sinatra, comedians – I wonder if Bob Hope ever went there. His image was pretty conservative.
