On Lasik
I hate those radio commercials that talk about how lucky people are who can afford Lasik surgery. And then go on to say, you can too because they've reduced prices so much. Well, that doesn't make it affordable to everybody who wants it. But I think they're better off not getting it. I hate the idea of carving up my cornea. What if your eye's shape changes in the future and so you lose the perfect vision? People have told me that it was successful for them or their husband or Tiger Woods or somebody . . . but no, I don't want to get my cornea carved up. I want to hear about these people ten or twenty years from now.
