On funny t shirts
I was kind of skeptical, but the doctor said it worked for him, and had lots of testimonials in the book (in fact, the book is more like an expanded article, with photos and x-rays and CAT scans to make it seem longer than it is), so I decided to try it. But the only place I can find with a bar to hang from is at the old playground in my neighborhood. The equipment is not in good condition. I've seen children play there only a few times, the grass is allowed to grow up, and it's just plain ugly. But the swingset's top bar is at the right height so I can grab and put as much of my weight as I can stand. It's not high enough to hold all my weight unless I lift my feet, and I can't manage that yet. I hang for twenty seconds, rest for a minute, and repeat for 10 to 15 minutes or so. And the first times it always hurts like hell, but later my shoulder feels a lot better. Nothing to wear any funny t shirts about, but I'm glad the pain has gone down a lot.
