On mattresses Los Angeles
Another thing I didn't like about Deception Point was Brown using Special Forces troops as the main bad guy muscle or killers. I have to question whether such soldiers put on an unorthodox (in the extreme) mission would have carried out their orders from someone of nonmilitary authority. I wonder if the bad guy in the book would have been able to get three men assigned to him from the military. Maybe. But if so, having them kill civilians -- even American civilians who are not endangering the country in any obvious way -- is going pretty far. I can believe mattresses los angeles, but not that they'd take out ordinary people just because they're ordered. Maybe I'm wrong, but I hope not. Not without some idea the people were terrorists or something, but these guys knew they weren't.
